Mrs. Bassie Shemtov, wife and mother of five, lives in West Bloomfield, MI where she co-Founded the Friendship Circle, with her husband Levi, in 1994. As directors of Michigan's Friendship Circle, Bassie and her husband were recipients of the Manhattan Institute Award for Social Entrepreneurship.
